The Boeing Company is looking for a

Senior Information Technology Project Management Specialist

to join the team in

Seattle, WA . You will join the Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) team, leading an enterprise effort to implement a broad range of technology solutions to comply with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). This program has sponsorship and visibility at the Boeing Executive Council level and is critical to meeting the requirements of the Boeing ITAR Consent Agreement. This complex program integrates statements of work across multiple IDT&S divisions, as well as activities across major Boeing businesses and functions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to work on a challenging and rewarding program with top technology leaders to deliver solutions that will make a difference.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute integrated project plans consistent with project objectives as defined by the program leader

Lead activities to determine and track schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle

Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners

Act as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives

Ensure that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrate project data for decision makers

Transform technical concepts into clear, actionable insights that resonate with an executive audience

Demonstrate versatility and resilience in navigating challenges and adapting to changing business needs

Lead and support the integration of the strategic plans across various sub teams

Provide leadership and guidance on the development of project communication plans

Lead activities to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans. Identifies need for vendor-provided products and services for complex, enterprise-wide projects

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

5+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and/or support IT project plans and schedules

5+ years of experience building relationships and partnerships with all levels of employees, including executives

1+ year of experience with Information Technology (IT) products and services

Experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives

Experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership

Experience leading or managing projects and teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; or 4 years of equivalent experience

Experience working within a group, valuing collaboration, communication, and cooperation to achieve results

Experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees

Experience with communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to connect, build rapport, and influence people at all levels—from team members to business unit leaders

Embraces speed and agility to drive innovation and results

Experience transforming technical concepts into clear, actionable insights

Experience organizing and executing workshops, meetings, team projects, team commitments, and production readiness assessments

Experience balancing multiple project priorities and statements of work

Experience being proactive, motivated, and initiating high-level tasks or projects independently with limited external direction or encouragement

Pay & Benefits: Boeing provides a Total Rewards package including competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities, and a range of benefit programs.

The specific programs and options available vary by location, eligibility, and collective bargaining agreements. Pay is based on candidate experience and qualifications.

Summary pay range: $150,450 - $203,550
