The core responsibilities of this role include:

Process customer orders and prepare correspondence to meet service requirements

Provide product, service, and transit information to customers

Communicate effectively via phone and email with transportation providers and internal operations

Maintain accurate records and documentation

File daily and monthly paperwork

Manage office tools, equipment, and supplies

Prepare service reports by collecting and analyzing customer data

Assist with order and product management

Verify data entry and transactions for inbound and outbound shipments

Support team objectives and perform additional duties as assigned by management

Position: Customer Service Representative

Shift: 1st Shift, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6:00am to 6:00pm, Every other Wednesday 6:00am to 6:00pm

Pay: $19.75 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

Customer service in a logistics or transportation environment

Dispatch or Transportation Management System (TMS) experience for scheduling truckloads or LTL shipments

Effective communication with carriers and clients to coordinate pickups and resolve issues

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Experience with commercial Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as JDA, Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, SAP

Familiarity with View software and ability to navigate customer portals

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric team environment

Grow your skills. Shape your world. Role Purpose : Process orders and prepare correspondence to fulfill customer needs. Responsible for providing product, service, and transit information to the customer and act as a liaison to facilitate issue resolution. Key Accountabilities : Resolve product or service problems: clarify the customer’s complaint, determine the cause of the problem, select and explain the best solution to solve the problems, expedite correction or adjustment, follow up to ensure resolution. Maintain customer records and update account information. Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments. Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information. Assist with order and product management. Perform other duties as assigned.
