The expected salary range for this position is $118,800 to $132,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a bonus and a 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
In this role, you will engage in advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. You will be responsible for making critical technical decisions and should possess a thorough understanding of your engineering discipline, along with detailed knowledge of industry codes and regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Offer in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
Provide consultation and direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.
Oversee the comprehensive task management of engineering challenges.
Execute engineering tasks as directed, applying fundamental engineering principles.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, adhering to configuration management and standard design criteria.
Conduct independent research and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
Advocate for equipment and new methods to enhance performance, reduce construction complexity and costs, correct design flaws, or adapt to new codes and regulations.
Perform other job-related assignments as requested, including emergency response duties and call-outs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with at least 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
Must meet access qualifications, including a favorable medical examination and/or testing as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Engineer registration.
Advanced technical degree or relevant advanced coursework.
Experience with large-scale capital improvements or modifications.
Experience as a Lead Responsible Engineer (LRE).
