A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable customers to achieve their missions. Crafting the right network with the right equipment and software requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. Responsibilities
Apply expertise in routing and switching, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching (MPLS), gateway protocol, and virtual routing and forwarding (VRF) as part of a team of problem-solvers. Design and modify network architectures to meet changing client needs; analyze and design new or improved operational capabilities across the enterprise network topology. Deploy, upgrade, configure, and troubleshoot multivendor network equipment and solutions; work with classified networks as required. Qualifications
3+ years of experience with designing and implementing LANs and VLANs 3+ years of experience with designing, deploying, and providing advanced support of multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks 3+ years of experience with creating new network architectures or modifying existing architectures to meet changing client needs 2+ years of experience with applying network design methodologies and network architecture principles 2+ years of experience with deploying, upgrading, configuring, and troubleshooting multivendor network equipment and solutions Experience with classified networks Knowledge of access controls, network security, and communication and routing protocols Ability to analyze, recommend, and design new or improved operational capabilities across the enterprise network topology TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelors degree in an IT field and 4+ years of IT experience, or 8+ years of IT experience in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have
Experience with network accreditation and security compliance processes Knowledge of virtualization and storage technologies (e.g., VMware, EMC, NetApp) Knowledge of integrating traditional on-prem networks with cloud-based solutions Ability to assist in all aspects of network management from design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrades Ability to translate requirements into standards-based, cost-efficient technical solutions Strong ability to lead and facilitate technical discussions with internal and external teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills Clearance
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Compensation
Salary range: $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). Posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
