Regional Communication and Recruitment Specialist (part-time, contingent) St. Mary's College of Maryland, a public, non-sectarian, co-educational liberal arts institution, is seeking applicants for the part-time, temporary, contingent position of

Regional Communication and Recruitment Specialist . Based in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, this individual assists with the development and execution of targeted email and text messaging campaigns through Slate to engage prospective students, families, and key stakeholders. The specialist will also collaborate with campus partners, including Integrated Marketing and Athletics, to enhance social media messaging and support recruitment efforts for incoming classes. This is a part-time (10 hours per week) contingent position with no benefits provided and an hourly pay rate of $24.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree is required, and a commitment to understanding the issues and concerns of prospective college students. Two years’ experience in college admission counseling, sales, or equivalent experience. Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible to drive leased vehicles. Working knowledge of various computer software packages and strong writing skills are essential. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered.
