JOB Title : Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Sunny Northwest Florida
Position Description :
Rally Point Management, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support advanced program operations in sunny Northwest Florida. Enjoy living in the beautiful areas of Destin and Ft. Walton Beach while supporting Eglin Air Force Base Electronic Warfare (EW) missions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the unit's Cyber Security requirements hands-on.
Review, prepare, and update AIS accreditation packages.
Coordinate hardware, software, or firmware changes with the Program Management Office (PMO) and Program Managers (PMs).
Notify customers of changes affecting AIS accreditation/certification.
Perform AIS self-inspections, identify vulnerabilities, and implement countermeasures.
Request temporary and permanent exceptions, deviations, or waivers to PMO requirements or criteria.
Qualification Requirements: Must be a US citizen. Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with access to SCI and SAPs. Require a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience OR a High School Diploma with 9 years of experience OR an Associate's degree with 7 years of experience. Meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2; certifications such as CASP or CAP are desirable; CISSP is preferred. In-depth knowledge of information systems supporting SAP networks. Knowledge of IS security concepts, principles, and practices. Knowledge of Collateral, SAP, and SCI security procedures. Experience working with Linux and Windows operating systems. Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) principles, system diagnostic tools (e.g., STIG, SCAP, ACAS, JSIG), vulnerability scanning, incident response, system administration, and operating system hardening techniques. Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
