Software Developer
Location: Tucson, AZ or Niceville, FL
Join a small, agile team supporting defense-related systems development. You'll collaborate directly with customers to define requirements and deliver cost-effective software solutions using existing platforms and tools. Responsibilities span the full development lifecycle—from concept to deployment and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and document system requirements
Build and integrate software for test benches, prototypes, and fielded systems
Support system upgrades and new capabilities
Collaborate closely with customers and team members
Required Qualifications
Education: BS in Computer Science or related field
Experience: 5+ years in software development, including web applications for thin-client servers
Technical Skills
C# (C/C++ a plus)
ASP.NET MVC
Object-Oriented Design
Networking protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP, multicast)
HTML, JavaScript
Real-time operating systems (preferred)
Experience with weapon systems (preferred)
Soft Skills
Strong team collaboration
Ability to mentor junior developers
Comfortable working directly with customers
Additional Info
Active DoD Secret Clearance preferred
Experience in multi-project environments and small teams
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.
