About the Role
The Company is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Financial Operations. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic financial leadership for the Americas Business Unit, with a strong emphasis on enhancing financial reporting, systems, and overall visibility. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing accounting and finance operations, managing tax reporting, financial planning, analysis, and incentive compensation.
You will collaborate closely with the COO and other senior leaders to guide long-term strategic decision-making, lead the annual budgeting process, and drive improvements in financial systems and tools to boost operational efficiency. An essential part of this role is to ensure compliance and the accuracy of financial statements according to GAAP/IFRS standards, while leading a high-performing, remote finance team.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust track record in executive finance roles, ideally within professional services. You should be a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a proven ability to drive financial performance and growth. Your background should include extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, coupled with a deep understanding of accounting principles, including IFRS 15. A relevant degree is preferred, and you must demonstrate strong communication skills with senior and executive management, including C-level executives in business and IT. Furthermore, superior leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role. Occasional travel may be required.
