As the owner of the global go-to-market strategy for the
Data Security Portfolio
(formerly Voltage), you will work within an
AI-first marketing organization
focused on meaningful results. You will create impactful positioning that demonstrates how our discovery-to-encryption platform effectively addresses data security challenges, fortifies defenses against emerging threats, and drives significant value for our customers. You’ll report directly to the Sr. Director of Cybersecurity Product Marketing and collaborate across teams to swiftly convert innovative ideas into revenue. What This Role Offers: Messaging & Positioning
- Craft engaging and distinct narratives for data discovery, tokenization, Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), and Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs). Today's buyers seek clarity and value in vendor offerings, and you will deliver that insight. Competitive Intensity
- Stay ahead of data security competitors such as Varonis, BigID, Wiz, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Cyera, Thales, IBM Guardium, Imperva, and Protegrity. Understand their strategies inside and out to effectively position our advantages. Launch Excellence
- Lead product launches, highlight successful use cases, and prepare compelling customer proof points. You will instill focus and discipline into our marketing efforts to achieve success. Sales & Partner Enablement
- Develop essential resources like battlecards, calculators, talk tracks, and training materials that enhance win rates, ensuring sales efforts are strategic and impactful. Demand-Gen Alignment
- Share insights on persona-based pain points and significant events to fuel targeted campaigns that resonate with key decision-makers. Market Insight
- Extract and analyze data to inform product direction and stay ahead of competitors. What You Need to Succeed: 8+ years
of experience in enterprise software, including
5+ years
in cybersecurity or data security product marketing. Demonstrated success in launching and messaging
DSPM, discovery/classification, encryption/tokenization, DLP,
or
database activity monitoring . Experience with major data security vendors like
Varonis, BigID, Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Microsoft Security, Cyera, Thales CipherTrust, IBM Guardium, Imperva, or Protegrity . AI Marketing Expertise : Practical knowledge of GenAI or machine learning; a willingness to deepen your expertise is key. Proficient in translating technical language into value for
CISOs, CIOs, CDOs,
and
Data Security Engineers . A history of empowering sales teams to exceed quotas with tangible results. Outstanding storytelling abilities, whether on stage, on camera, or during analyst calls.
