This position is for the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness and support the resiliency and well-being of Soldiers and Families. Performs "Hands-on" supervision of the restaurant. Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business operation during peak business hours to set the pace in Front and Back of the House. Adherence to established schedules of activities and priorities; assures the presence of personnel to carry out the services offered; provides information concerning services, prices, dress codes, standards of behavior, and special events. Keeps an operational log while on duty; opens and closes the facility and performs fire and security checks Conducts inventory at beginning and/or end of shift. Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. An employer referred pre-employment physical examination is required. This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation. Management reserves the right to reassign employees to other facilities. Must be willing to accept intermittent, on-call employment. Must be physically able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds. Work schedule will be irregular. Must obtain a food handler's certificate upon entrance on duty. Management will determine when it is needed. Qualified candidates will possess the following: A minimum of (6) six months experience effectively working in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment or as a current MWR Texas Roadhouse team member, AND good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
