In this critical role, you will support the corporate controller's team by processing general ledger entries, conducting GL account reconciliations, and ensuring the utmost accuracy of financial information for various reporting purposes. You will play an essential role in internal and external audits and special projects, requiring a solid understanding of SOX 404 compliance requirements. We seek candidates with a Bachelor's degree in accounting, a CPA, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a publicly traded bank environment. It is essential that you possess strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across functions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a strategic mindset and a proven track record of driving value and pursuing continuous improvement. Experience with advanced Excel and PowerPoint is preferred. This position involves minimal travel (less than 10%).
