Fund Controller
to join their growing finance team in New York. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to take ownership of fund accounting and reporting within a dynamic and sophisticated investment platform. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of fund accounting, financial reporting, and investor reporting. Manage capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards. Coordinate with third-party administrators, auditors, and tax advisors. Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements. Support portfolio valuation processes and financial due diligence. Optimize financial controls, policies, and best practices. Key Requirements: 7+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting or financial control, preferably within private equity, credit, or alternative investments. Experience with Small Business Investment Companies (SBIC) CPA, CFA, or CA designation preferred. Strong technical proficiency in GAAP, partnership accounting, and investment structures. Experience working with third-party administrators and auditors. Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, proactive mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
