Job Summary
VP Business Risk - Regulatory Compliance Reporting to the Director Business Risk - Regulatory Compliance, the employee will collaborate with functional stakeholders, assisting in incorporating regulatory requirements into business initiatives under Agile methodologies. Working closely with USCM and product teams, participating in meetings with the 2LoD, this role will support the identification and prioritization of regulatory initiatives, as well as facilitate their execution and implementation. What will you do? Represent business risk and product to support U.S. and enterprise-wide regulatory or governance programs, coordinating feedback and ensuring execution. Identify, prioritize, and proactively manage dependencies, risks, exceptions, and issues. Support and foster a strong control environment. Assist in assessing current regulatory controls and recommend improvements. Use reporting and Key Risk Indicators to identify trends and areas for control enhancement. Promote regulatory issue self-identification and provide transparency on remediation progress. Educate the business on regulatory requirements and implications, fostering ownership and a strong risk culture. Maintain clear communication regarding controls, testing, audit progress, and issue management. Stay updated on industry practices, skills, and regulatory concerns. Support improvements in regulatory compliance processes. What do you need to succeed?
3-5 years of regulatory compliance experience in transaction banking, cash management, or treasury services. Experience in compliance or audit roles. Profound knowledge of U.S. regulatory obligations, including Federal Reserve and OCC guidelines. Experience interpreting and designing controls for regulations like Reg CC, Reg D, Reg J, Reg W. Experience applying legal, regulatory, or policy requirements. Experience coordinating transformational efforts. Interest or experience in Agile methodologies. Ability to connect regulatory requirements with business initiatives and support product teams. Attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture. Strong stakeholder influence and collaboration skills. Problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset. What's in it for you?
