Overview We are seeking a Senior Benefits Account Executive to join our team and manage a portfolio of clients. As a Senior Benefits Account Executive, you will provide exceptional service and support to clients in the administration and implementation of their medical and voluntary benefits packages. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their benefit needs and providing strategic consulting services. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance their benefits programs. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing management of self-funded benefits plans. Conduct regular benefits reviews to assess plan performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend improvements. Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and compliance requirements to provide clients with informed guidance and support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in benefits account management, focusing on medical and voluntary benefits for mid-sized groups. Proven track record of managing self-funded benefits programs, including plan design, analysis, and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of healthcare and voluntary benefit products, along with industry regulations and compliance standards. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Industry certifications such as CEBS, PHR, or SHRM-CP are a plus. Day-to-day Engage with clients to understand their benefits needs and deliver tailored solutions. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing management of benefits plans. Monitor and analyze benefits program performance, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
