Summary: The Microelectronics Division of Mercury Systems develops and manufactures a range of secure, rugged and dense microelectronics products, components and solutions for the aerospace and defense industry. A component to the Division’s growth is the Mixed Signal line of business. The Mixed Signal line of business consists of a range of products and capabilities including FPGA and Heterogenous Processing Modules, RF Tuners, RF Up/Down-converters, Coherent Clock Modules and IF Conversion and Direct RF Processing Modules. It also consists of custom program-specific products and solutions based on Mercury Systems designs. The Microelectronics Division is seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategic and tactical execution of a portfolio of products and solutions within the Mixed Signal capabilities set. The Senior Principal Product Manager will have ownership of and is responsible for leading the development, evolution, and lifecycle of a portfolio of Mixed Signal products. Responsibilities: Gain early insight into program opportunities and overall market direction by building relationships with business and thought leaders at key prime and government customers Develop and execute product and technology roadmaps that align with strategic initiatives Develop and execute product launch and marketing strategies Assist capture managers in the response to BAAs, RFIs, RFPs and RFQs and ensure that accurate information is available to support early gate investment reviews Manage the product lifecycle from concept to end of life Work collaboratively with Program Management to support program opportunities that leverage Modified Off-the-Shelf (MOTS) products, derivatives of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products, and custom product solutions Lead and/or participate in gate reviews, IRAD/Engineering NRE investment reviews, NPI meetings, cost/pricing, product and technology roadmap reviews Drive product and program investments with compelling business cases that support the division’s annual and strategic operating plans Help author and review sales and marketing collateral, data sheets, web content and product user guides Develop product white papers for internal and external stakeholders Gather, report, and monitor metrics to gauge the health and value-add of the organization, to be shared across the division and Mercury Collaborate with the division’s Growth function and BU leaders to perform VoC surveys Gain insight into market trends and competitive intelligence by working with other product managers, BU leaders, and the Growth team, to help with cost and pricing activities Key Capabilities/Experiences/Leadership Behaviors: 7+ years of product management experience preferably in the aerospace and defense or technology industries Extensive knowledge of product management practices, the product development process, and the tools necessary to support them At least 5 years of experience with new product introduction (NPI) and engineering development activities Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with internal leaders, stakeholders, customers, and strategic partners Excellent presentation skills Strong business acumen/judgment; ability to make trades and provide specific recommendations to senior management, partners, and the customer's business leaders Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make confident, timely, data-driven decisions when confronted with ambiguity or incomplete information Ability to influence without authority and engage for impact across cross-functional groups and external stakeholders Industry experience with embedded systems, RF, secure computing technologies, modular open systems approach (MOSA) and military standards Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field; Master's Degree (MBA or MS Management, MS Logistics or Supply Chain) preferred "This position requires you to have
