Responsibilities
Serve as a valuable business partner in this Tax role.
Present to departmental leaders.
Have a direct impact on free cash flow, EPS, and cash taxes.
Strategize for project work, respond to inquiries, negotiate settlements, and present impact analyses.
Manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Negotiate and advocate for favorable outcomes, exhibiting a thorough understanding of transaction tax laws.
Manage, analyze, and present large data sets for claims and support.
Establish reserves for contingent gains and losses.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Analytics/Business Intelligence, or related discipline.
Advanced degree in Law, Accounting, Taxation, Finance, MIS, or CS preferred.
CPA or CMI certification desired.
5+ to 7 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suites.
Experience with sales/use and gross receipts tax.
Experience dealing with transaction tax audits.
Experience with digital automation and data visualization tools.
Experience in Big 4 or Fortune 500 tax departments preferred.
Knowledge of tax audit techniques and research analysis.
Industry experience in technology or telecommunications is a plus.
Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP.
Experience as a tax auditor is a plus.
