Our headquarters are in Nashua, NH, with design, sales, and manufacturing locations worldwide. We are seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer for our CBS Team in Santa Clara, CA. RESPONSIBILITIES: Contribute to teams responsible for customer system development and support from concept to production. Develop integration and test strategies supporting new product introductions. Provide solutions to customers across various sectors for high-speed data transmission needs. Design and evaluate next-generation production test platforms. Support production to ensure high-quality testing and measurement standards. Assist Sales Engineers in developing product break-in strategies based on signal integrity expertise. Design, simulate, characterize, and apply high-speed electrical connectors and cable-based interconnects. Share knowledge and pursue continuous improvement in methods and workflows. Design, build, and measure circuit boards for product verification. Apply circuit theory, high-speed digital transmission, and PCB layout principles for high-speed digital design. QUALIFICATIONS: BSc in Electrical Engineering; MSc or PhD preferred. At least 3 years of industry experience with understanding of electromagnetic principles related to digital signal integrity. Experience in component design and high-speed connector application in communication equipment is a plus. Experience with signal integrity measurements and debugging using TDR, VNA, pattern generators, error detectors, etc. Proficiency with signal integrity simulation/analysis tools such as Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave, HSPICE, MATLAB, and ADS. Hands-on experience with frequency and time-domain component and circuit characterization, including test and calibration methods. The salary range for this position is $80,750 to $214,500, based on factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and skills.
