We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing staff. You will provide direct patient care, discuss patient symptoms and concerns and perform thorough examinations to diagnose their medical problem and prescribe medication or create a treatment plan if necessary. When required, you will collaborate with our physicians to treat for more advanced illnesses or injuries. Our ideal candidate has a current state license to practice and at least three years of medical experience.

Nurse Practitioner Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate new patient consultation and health history review
  • Perform physical examinations and screenings of patients
  • Order and administer tests including bloodwork
  • Review and interpret test results to diagnose health problems
  • Recommend further treatment options or future appointments if needed
  • Provide referrals to other practitioners when necessary
  • Provide after-care/ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families
  • Ensure patient records are kept up to date including test results, immunizations, condition changes, etc.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree required OR commensurate experience and satisfactory completion of NP licensure.
  • Current RN and NP licensure in state of practice to include prescription authority or the ability to obtain prescriptive authority, autonomous license required.
  • Board certified by the AANP, ANCC or the AACCN.
  • Have a current BLS or CPR certification.
  • Three experiences as a Nurse Practitioner preferred or hold an autonomous license.
  • Have strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR software.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with patient, clients and colleagues
  • Have a positive and outgoing personality and be a team player. Be comfortable and flexible with frequent change.
