About the Role:

As a Nurse Practitioner at KC Bariatric, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients across various age groups, focusing on family medicine and weight management. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient safety and promote health education, particularly in bariatrics and metabolic health. This position requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, as you will be addressing both acute and chronic health issues. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner certification in Family Medicine or applicable certification.
  • Valid state nursing license and certification to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in family medicine, weight management or bariatrics.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and evaluations of patients to determine their healthcare needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and ensure patient safety.
