Salary Range
$75-$87
Job Summary

We are a busy pediatric practice located in Inglewood, currently seeking a full-time or part-time ( 32-40 hours) Nurse Practitioner trained in Pediatrics or Family Medicine with a strong pediatric expirience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a pediatric patients.
  • Must be comfortable managing 20-22 patients a day.
  • Spanish-speaking preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing direct patient care, including well-child physicals and sick visits.
  • Handling parent communications and follow-up calls.
  • Completing school and other related forms.
  • Reviewing and managing lab results, X-rays, ER, and specialist reports.

General Accountabilities
  • Analyzes and interprets patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Diagnoses or treats acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries.
  • Recommends diagnostic or therapeutic interventions.
  • Prescribes medications.
  • Educates patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.
  • Orders, performs, or interprets the results of diagnostic tests.
  • Maintains complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans and prognoses.
  • Detects and responds to adverse drug reactions.
  • Keeps abreast of developments in nursing.
  • Refer patients for primary care conditions.
  • Schedules follow-up visits to monitor patients or evaluate health or illness care.
  • Performs routine or annual physical examinations.
  • Supervises or coordinates patient care or support staff activities.
  • Maintains current knowledge of state legal regulations for nurse practitioner practice.
  • Keeps abreast of regulatory processes and payer systems.

Job Qualifications
  • State of California RN, NP, NPF licenses-Required 
  • DEA-Required
  • Experience: minimal of 1 year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
