Job description
Duties:

• - Provide primary care services to patients, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses.
• - Conducted physical examinations and ordered and interpreted diagnostic tests.
• - Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary.
• - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• - Utilize electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
• - Perform procedures such as wound care, suturing, and administering injections.
• - Provide health coaching and education to patients on topics such as disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and medication management.
• - Assist in discharge planning for patients transitioning from hospital to home or other care settings.

Qualifications:

• - Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California.
• -Cardiology experience preferred.
• - Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• - Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as eClinicalWorks.
• - Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices.
• - Experience with medical imaging interpretation (e.g., X-rays, ultrasounds).
• - Familiarity with neonatal ventilators for respiratory support.
• - Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
• - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
