We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead and support our nursing staff in delivering outstanding patient care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring optimal patient care and staff performance.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff; participate in recruitment, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, AAAHC standards and state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Manage staffing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement and implement evidence-based practices.
  • Promote a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in Alaska
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
