License Vocational Nurse Job at Back Office Risk in San Antonio

This is a full-time on-site role for a "care coordinator", that will primarily be located in a DMC clinic in the San Antonio location, but occasionally may involve job-site health screening. The care coordinator will be responsible for the entire patient flow process, from front desk check-in, vitals and intake, assisting physician with procedures, phlebotomy/lab, check-out, referrals, and handling patient's questions through our portal. We also provide same-day appointments for out patient's urgent needs, such as laceration repair, I&D of abscesses, skin procedures, and IV fluid therapy. Interpersonal skills and positive energy a big plus! Pay depends on experience, qualifications, and local job market.

Requirements

· Bilingual Spanish/English

· Experienced LVN

· Comfortable with phlebotomy and IM injections

· Experience with starting IV's a plus.

· Knowledge of basic healthcare procedures and protocols (sterile procedures, HIPAA)

· Electronic communication, computer skills and interpersonal skills for documentation and to maintain excellent patient experience.

· Can organize urgent vs multi-day projects (referrals, etc).
