**Responsibilities include:**

1. Administering medication (e.g., oral, intramuscular, and intravenous) and monitoring patient medication compliance
2. Performing treatments and assisting with nurse’s sick call
3. Assisting with doctor’s sick call
4. Managing chronic care clinics
5. Responding to emergencies with emergency care and CPR
6. Assessing patients subjectively and objectively
7. Documenting vital signs and other findings
8. Collecting specimens like urine or other bodily fluids
9. Preparing patients for transfer or release, reviewing care and transfer summaries
10. Ensuring discharge medication orders are completed and forwarded to pharmacy
11. Participating in training and exercises
12. Assisting healthcare staff and investigating concerns
13. Reviewing shift reports
14. Assisting physicians with procedures
15. Covering duties of absent nurses
16. Providing patient education on healthcare maintenance and disease prevention
17. Engaging in quality assurance and training new staff
18. Serving as a resource for healthcare and security staff
19. Providing orientation and training for new personnel
20. Acting as the lead clinical authority in the absence of senior staff
21. Participating in programming and wellness initiatives
22. Performing administrative duties, scheduling meetings, managing supplies, and assisting ancillary staff

**Additional details:**

• Starting pay approximately $78,000, based on location/shift
• Ohio is part of the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), allowing multistate practice
• Employer qualifies for the Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness program
• Requires current Ohio RN licensure
