Responsibilities

• As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will assist in delivering nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Your duties include providing personal care with hygiene and physical comfort (feeding, bathing, shaving, changing clothes, bed making, ambulation, lifting, turning, moving, transferring, skin care, and bowel and bladder elimination).
• Provide care that meets the personal needs and comfort of patients within your scope of practice, skills, and abilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program (or military medical specialty training).
• Six months of related work experience.
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Washington State.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
• Quarterly American Heart Association Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. Ongoing competency is required through facility resources.
• Note: Registered Nursing Assistants who do not have CNA certification but meet the core qualifications must be assigned to this classification. Complete the required 40 hours of clinical experience and provide proof of application and/or pending examination for CNA certification within 120 days from the date of hire.

Pay Range

$22.73 - $31.00 per hour
