Overview
Technical Project Manager II (Client-facing RNA/ DNA Mfg., Method Development/ Validation) – on-site role in Fargo, North Dakota. The TPM II is responsible for managing the development elements of biomanufacturing projects in support of client programs and services. The role supports the Project Management team under the Manager of Technical Project Management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee complex biomanufacturing projects utilizing department standards and tools.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, internal stakeholders, Program Managers, and clients while maintaining project timeline data, communicating status updates, managing changes, achieving key milestones, and driving action items and deliverables to completion.
- Proactively identify obstacles and work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective solutions.
- Resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks with internal and external stakeholders to preserve and strengthen professional relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Prefer 3–5 years of experience in method development, method validation, quality control, biomanufacturing validation, process development, or technology transfer, ideally pertaining to nucleic acids.
- Proven experience leading relevant departments and/or managing complex projects with both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in tools: SmartSheet, OneNote, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong facilitation and presentation capabilities.
Travel, Environment & Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- This role could require travel of 10% or more.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a CDMO environment.
