The Cypress Group is hiring: Software Engineer in San Mateo

Our client is a growing, AI enabled SaaS Software startup software company based in the San Francisco Bay area. They are looking for a Software Engineer to join their Software Engiring Engineering team in a hybrid capacity, in-office 3 days / week in the Bay Area

Qualified candidates will have 4-5+ years of hands-on industry experience building B2B SaaS software using Python, Django (or Flask, Fast API, etc.), React.js, Typescript, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, etc., any experience with docker and/or K8s would be a plus. Additional experience using LLMs in a production environment. Applicants must have experience working in a growing startup, and must have experience working in a highly regulated domain involving data privacy and security. Experience in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical industries are prefered, or a regulated fintech environment. BSCS or equivalent is required, advanced degrees are preferred.

The Senior Software Engineer will participate in full life-cycle development of the core platform including architecture, design, development and operations of scalable backend applications and services that power new ML and LLM model workflows. Applicants must be organized self-starters with excellent communication skills. Must exibit the ability to write clean, high-quality, high-performance maintainable code.
