Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Software Engineer to bolster our DevOps and Continuous Integration initiatives. In this role, you’ll focus on building, maintaining, and optimizing our .NET C# and AWS Microservices technology stack, ensuring our systems remain reliable, performant, and up-to-date. You will also take charge of database updates and maintenance, guaranteeing consistent uptime and seamless operations. Reporting to both our Chief Product and Technology Officer and SVP of Strategy, you’ll collaborate closely with a fast-moving, agile team focused on quality and continuous innovation.

 

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

System Architecture & Infrastructure:

  • Design and implement resilient, scalable systems built on .NET C# and AWS Microservices.
  • Oversee database updates and maintenance to ensure high reliability and continuous uptime.

DevOps & CI/CD Automation:

  • Develop, manage, and optimize continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code practices to streamline deployments and system checks.

Incident Management & Reliability:

  • Lead incident response efforts, perform root cause analyses, and drive post-incident improvements.
  • Establish best practices that enhance system reliability and minimize downtime.

Collaborative Development:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps best practices throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Communicate regularly with leadership to align technical strategies with business goals.

 

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

Core Technologies:

  • Strong proficiency in .NET C#, Python, and JavaScript. Node.js is a plus.
  • Proven experience with AWS Microservices (including tools such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
  • Proven experience with REST APIs.

DevOps & CI/CD:

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
  • Expertise in automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions.

Database Management:

  • In-depth knowledge of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, Aurora) and best practices for updates and maintenance.

 

Background & Experience:

  • 4–7+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on DevOps, system reliability, or high-traffic backend services, or related field.
  • Ability to work as a self-starter, both independently and collaboratively, in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
