Job Description:

We are looking for TS/SCI cleared Systems Engineers/Software Engineers

that have an advanced understanding of modern SW tools and techniques

and can lead teams to drive projects to transition. The ideal candidate

will have expertise in missile systems, remote sensing, and sensor

fusion to help develop advanced detection, tracking, and interception

technologies. A strong background in OPIR image processing and data

exploitation is desired. You must be comfortable interacting with

clients and end-users and be able to brief/provide live demos. You will

support a large R&D program that is focused on providing advanced

intelligence capabilities for the benefit of the DoD and IC communities.

You will be part of a very high visibility project on a mid-sized team

where you will work with application development teams across the

software development life cycle, creating solutions to complex problems

within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

• UsePython, MATLAB, or C++to:

• Develop/automate correlation algorithm for signatures from

multiple sensors across time and space

• Create Modeling and Simulation (M&S) algorithms

• Optimize R&D algorithms to derive insights from raw sensor data.

• Perform scientific research and proof-of-concept algorithm

development for identifying materials based on IR spectral

signatures.

• Perform research and data analysis to refine algorithms supporting

missile detection and defense

• Sensor Characterization

Required Must Have Skills:

• 10+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing,

and implementing software programming applications using Agile

methods

• 10+ years of experience in software development with basic

programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development

stacks

• Experience with Python coding

• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software

engineering, product management, and software products

• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating

and enhancing code samples for existing applications

• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow

problems through automation optimization

• Experience mentoring or supervising employees within a

collaborative, cross-functional team environment

• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and

maintenance

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or an Engineering

field

Desired/Bonus Skills:

• Experience with containerization tools and techniques

• Knowledge ofCI/CDpipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, or

similar tools

• NGA, MDA, and/or NASIC domain experience is highly preferred

• Understanding of Time-Dominant GEOINT and Non-Time Dominant GEOINT

• AWS Cloud experience

• Master’s degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or a related

Engineering field preferred; Doctorate degree in CS, Computer

Engineering, or a related Engineering field a plus

Qualifications (education/experience substitutions are allowed):

• Mid-level candidates must have a B.A./B.S. and 4 years of experience

• Senior level candidates must have a B.A./B.S. and 10 years of

experience

• SME level candidates must have an M.A./M.S. and 18 years of

experience
