We are accepting applications for bakery and deli customer service associate (Part-Time) positions at Foundry Bakehouse & Deli. Shifts range from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesdays through Saturdays. Flexibility to school/family schedules is possible. Successful candidates are individuals who are energetic, outgoing, reliable, flexible, attentive to details, calm during busy times, proactive, and put customers first. We are prioritizing hiring individuals with availability in the late morning to early afternoons (11/Noon to 4:30PM).

The Foundry Bakehouse & Deli is a five-year-old business in the historic downtown of Albion, MI, in a newly renovated kitchen. Work with our bakery team members to help shape and develop the Foundry into a destination spot for individuals across Michigan.

The Bakery Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all bakery patrons. This role involves handling cashier duties, assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining product displays, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.

Successful bakery-deli customer service associate and cashier (part-time) candidates likely have the following characteristics

• Greet customers warmly and provide an exception experience for customers
• Has experience working in a quick-serve restaurant or another relevant cashier role
• Comfortable using computers and Point of Sales Systems
• Demonstrates a passion for working in the front of house
• Detail-oriented and can multi-task effectively
• Comfortable following established systems or solving problems on the fly, depending on the situation
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills
• High level of interest in learning about food, people and business.
