Job Title: Transportation Specialist

Job Description

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that customer freight, regardless of size, is delivered quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively. We are focused on innovation and providing best-in-class service levels, striving to develop a world-class logistics process.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve performance score discrepancies for the logistics network carrier base.
  • Partner with teams to identify and drive process improvements that enhance service, iterate technology, and boost carrier performance engagement and growth.
  • Collaborate on the development and delivery of key programs, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to facilitate key business decisions across customer-facing programs.
  • Pull data from numerous databases using tools such as Excel, QuickSight, Hubble, SQL, and other data management systems.

Essential Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in dispute resolution, transportation, customer service, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office with basic computer skills.
  • Effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing large data sets to drive performance and process improvements.
  • Operational focus with no phone interaction required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, and array formulas.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite with various shift schedules available: two positions from Sunday to Wednesday and two positions from Wednesday onward. The opportunity allows for learning and growth within the transportation teams, providing an entry-level corporate role that supports peak business ramps.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
