We are the service provider for Ace Hardware throughout the Greater Richmond Virginia area and a national leader in the home improvement and home repair services industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking highly organized and motivated candidates to serve as Customer Service Reps to ensure efficient daily operations.

In this role, you will facilitate calls to educate customers on our services and solutions, and manage the daily schedule. Your goal will be to listen to customers and help solve their problems, matching the right craftsmen with the right customer for a successful customer journey.

This position starts part-time at around 25 hours per week and can quickly lead to full-time employment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answering calls, discussing services, prices, and availability with clients and potential clients
  • Helping new clients understand our services and work process
  • Scheduling work accurately with detailed descriptions, assigned craftsmen, and specific dates and times
  • Supporting field operations by providing necessary information and assistance
  • Maintaining customer information and scheduling within the Service Titan CRM system (experience with Service Titan is a plus)
  • Providing detailed job information to craftsmen prior to scheduled work
  • Monitoring job details from the field and handling rescheduling as needed
  • Checking and responding to emails and calls promptly
  • Resolving operational issues as they arise
  • Communicating with clients via phone, email, and letters

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience with email and MS Office; comfort with technology
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Solution-focused attitude and quick thinking
