Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving and processing incoming products, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing stock within the assigned department.
Duties
- Accurately pick parts.
- Weigh product using the proper scales.
- Check part numbers and quantities with a high degree of accuracy.
- Accurately pack orders into shipping cartons, verifying all components of the order are accounted for the correct customer.
- Responsible for reading customer order notes and filling the order with any special customer requirements.
- Unload freight and check in product.
- Stock parts in the proper location.
- Maintain stock and shipping supplies.
- Assist in counting physical inventory; perform inventory audits as needed.
- Notify Department Lead or Department Supervisor of any stock shelf issues.
- Report defective materials/product, shortages and/or questionable conditions to the Lead or Supervisor.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness.
- Follow all safety rules.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education And Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Similar job experience preferred.
- RF handheld experience preferred.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on level surfaces for a prolonged period. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above shoulder height and below the waist. The employee must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. 70% of the day and up to 65 lbs. 30% of the day.

Non-climate-controlled warehouse.
