A warehouse associate is an essential part of our distribution center. The employee will support the distribution center by stocking, picking, packing and shipping orders, plus processing returns. They are expected to follow warehouse procedures efficiently and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction. The distribution center is a team setting; the position will help in a variety of distribution center related tasks.

Hourly pay rate $20.00

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete tasks utilizing hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts
• Work comfortably within computer systems and utilizing a scanner
• Load/un-load trucks
• Receive customer returns and neatly prepare for re-stock
• Stock product into correct storage locations
• Pick product accurately from storage locations
• Pack product neatly and accurately
• Maintain clean warehouse

• Must be able to work effectively with other team members
• Must be technically capable and adaptable to learn order processing software

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma is preferred, but not required
• No experience is necessary, however basic knowledge of a warehouse work environment is expected

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• The employee will generally work a physically demanding job and must be able to lift comfortably 30 pounds, as well as bend and lift. Much of the warehouse associate’s time is spent standing and walking in a warehouse environment.
