Job Summary

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations, including picking and packing orders, fulfilling bulk business sales, bookplating, and managing eBay and Amazon sales. You will report directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager, who will provide guidance and support in your role. Additionally, you will assist the Warehouse Operations Manager with other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities :

Picking and Packing Orders

• This position will support the warehouse team throughout each day with picking/packing customer orders. All order packaging will be done according to the team’s standard operating procedures to protect the product.

Book-plating:

• This position will support book-plating new books as they are delivered from our publishing distributors (bookplates are autographed 3x5” collectible cards that stick to the inside page of select book titles).

Supporting Damaged and Unsigned Inventory:

• This will involve supporting the Warehouse Operations Manager in identifying products that are either damaged or unsigned.
• If a book does not meet Premiere Collectibles’ standards, it will be placed in a queue for eBay.
• If books are returned unsigned (and cannot be signed for a specific reason), they will be listed on Amazon at a discounted price.

Adding New Titles to eBay and Amazon:

• This includes managing damaged books, adding new titles to eBay and Amazon, managing inventory, and supporting customer questions to increase customer retention and loyalty.
• The Warehouse Associate will add new titles to eBay and Amazon as needed.
• For eBay: This will involve taking photos of the book and clearly showing any flaws, such as dents or scratches. Additionally, a detailed description of the book’s condition will be required. You may need to take 5-7 photos of each product.
• For Amazon: This will involve listing the books and either creating or using an existing SKU for each book so it can be properly identified in our system. We need to ensure the correct ISBN is used to locate the right book on Amazon.
• As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the ongoing Amazon and eBay inventory in the warehouse. It is crucial that we never oversell on these platforms, as refunds related to overselling can significantly impact our account status. Ongoing cycle counts during slow periods will ensure the integrity of our inventory levels.

Supporting eBay and Amazon Questions/Offers:

• The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for managing all offers submitted on eBay from potential buyers. For example, it is a frequent practice to submit a lower offer for a product. So this role will be responsible for managing the bidding/bartering as they come through.
• In addition, this role is responsible for checking incoming customer questions, complaints, and requests from both platforms. While we do have a Customer Service team that supports all of our sales channels, at times, eBay and Amazon can be overlooked. So, it will be important to keep close attention to all activity and communications related to these platforms.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Be flexible to work through a wide array of tasks across multiple Premiere Book Group ventures.
• Other duties as needed on a daily basis.

Supervisor : This position will report directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager.

Working Hours :

• This position is full-time; however, hours can fluctuate based on project/campaign schedules.
• The standard schedule is Monday through Friday between 7 am - 3 pm. The Warehouse Operations Manager will finalize the ultimate schedule.
• Payroll is paid biweekly.
• Hours will be tracked on an hourly basis through our internal HR program known as Insperity. This is a phone application that enables employees to log hours on their phone, which will be approved by the Warehouse Operations Manager.
• PBG offers comprehensive health insurance as a benefit of your employment. This includes coverage for medical, dental, and vision care for you and your eligible dependents. PBG will provide more detailed information about the health insurance plan and enrollment process during your onboarding.
• A signed Non-Disclosure/Non-Solicitation agreement will be required on the first day of employment.
