FULL TIME WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE WITH CARRIER ENTERPRISE

Our Hanover, MD, location has a day shift opening.

Objective

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the day-to-day warehouse operations, including picking and verifying orders, loading, unloading, and inventory control using advanced warehouse technology. The role involves accurately receiving, storing, and distributing HVAC products to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Candidates should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Receiving and Inspection:

• Receive HVAC products, verify accuracy against purchase orders or delivery manifests, and inspect for damages or defects. Report issues promptly.
• Organize and label received items for proper storage and easy retrieval.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
• Perform regular counts and reconcile stock levels, addressing discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment to ensure product availability.

Order Fulfillment:

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and on time.
• Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely to move and load products.
• Collaborate with team members for efficient order processing and shipping.

Warehouse Organization and Maintenance:

• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of obstructions for safety.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for HVAC products according to industry standards.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and report malfunctions or hazards.

Quality Control and Documentation:

• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of product movements, inspections, and inventory.
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance.
