Summary

The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Associate is to participate in daily warehouse operations and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety, and distribution of equipment and supplies, as well as maintenance of inventory.

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate in daily warehouse operations, including receipt, documentation, storage, safety, and distribution of equipment and supplies, and inventory maintenance.
2. Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store, and deliver materials, supplies, or equipment.
3. Ensure all merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
4. Maintain warehousing systems, procedures, and standards to ensure accurate and timely storage and billing.
5. Organize the storage area and recommend improvements.
6. Track warehouse projects, prepare reports, and manage shipments.
7. Reconcile receiving and delivery reports.
8. Follow safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE and proper lifting techniques.
9. Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Minimum Qualifications

1. High School diploma or GED required.
2. Knowledge of packaging, loading, and unloading techniques.
3. Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
4. Forklift certification preferred.
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Punctuality, results-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
7. Physical stamina for lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, walking, and bending.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to communicate effectively and lift up to 75 pounds regularly. Ability to work long hours on your feet, with frequent walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.
