This position supports the day-to-day operations of the branch by providing order and delivery services. Responsibilities include all aspects of warehouse functions such as receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing products for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

This is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre-employment drug test. The test screens for drugs including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). A background check will be conducted for any convictions directly related to the duties and responsibilities; only job-related convictions will be considered and will not automatically disqualify a candidate.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day branch operations by providing order and delivery services.
• Perform all aspects of warehouse functions: receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing product for customer delivery.
• Maintain warehouse safety and orderliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code.
• Ability to read orders and match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Ability to obtain certification of power-truck equipment.
• Operate inventory control equipment, e.g., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted; occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment; standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing for extended periods.
• May require climbing ladders for top-level selection.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
