Description

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc., is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Branch Operations group at our Lawrenceville, GA branch. The Warehouse Associate will handle off-loading, put-away, picking, and staging of equipment and parts, while providing professional customer service. The role involves movement of materials within the warehouse, maintaining overall appearance, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities may include:

• Safely operate forklift and warehouse equipment for loading/unloading and transfer of materials
• Receive items as per procedures and stock them appropriately
• Maintain inventory and perform cycle counts
• Complete Will Calls
• Ensure accurate paperwork and transaction entries
• Wear proper PPE and uniform during shifts
• Follow safety and housekeeping procedures, including forklift inspections
• Assist customers and CSRs as needed
• Follow SOPs, work processes, and company policies
• Perform additional tasks as required

Nature and Scope

Knowledge & Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and work in a fast-paced environment
• Pass Prove It and driving tests
• Eligible for forklift certification within 30 days
• Dependable, team-oriented, positive attitude
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse

Experience

• 1+ years warehouse/logistics experience
• 1+ years forklift experience preferred

Education

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
