Overview

Warehouse Associate at Floor & Decor

Base pay: from $15.00 per hour with higher starting pay based on experience.

Purpose: As a warehouse associate at Floor & Decor, you are the backbone of our retail location. Your key responsibilities include compiling orders, replenishing and moving merchandise, checking inventory and orders, interacting with customers, and operating a forklift. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and understand compliance with the company’s safety processes.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Provide above-and-beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Restock show floor with product and organize merchandise to company standards for easy shopping.
• Load out customers with the correct product and help them find products as needed.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Keep work area clean and safe.

Qualifications and Minimum Eligibility

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Completion of forklift certifications through Floor & Decor.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful drug test.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Exposure to a warehouse environment; noise level typically quiet to moderate.
• Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally, and 20–30 pounds frequently; ability to stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, and stoop or crouch as needed.

Hours and Locations

Store hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Sunday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Pickup hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Sunday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
