ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Warehouse Associate supports prefabrication and manufacturing by:

  1. Receiving materials, transporting, and organizing them for production.
  2. Loading completed products onto trucks for deliveries.
  3. Safely operating a forklift and maintaining an orderly warehouse.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Loading and unloading trucks.
  • Handling scrap and waste materials.
  • Transporting materials to the shipping bay.
  • Receiving and documenting merchandise.
  • Ensuring proper packing, labeling, and shipping.
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety.

Compensation ranges from $48,000 to $60,000 plus discretionary bonuses, benefits, and employee ownership options. Individual pay depends on skills and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: 1 year of warehouse experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • Basic inspection, math, and reading skills.
  • Ability to work overtime occasionally.
  • Successful background and Motor Vehicle Report check.
  • Knowledge of electrical industry materials/tools is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work in warehouse environment, exposed to weather.
  • Wear PPE including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and high-visibility vests.
  • Use of standard office equipment as needed.
  • Frequent sitting, standing; occasional bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, crouching.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
