Warehouse Associate – Wayfair

The base pay for this position is $19.00 per hour. The Wayfair Distribution team plays a key role in improving customer satisfaction and driving repeat business.

Wayfair is building a best-in-class logistics network that speeds up deliveries, adds services, and reduces damage using our own physical, asset-based warehouses. We are looking for talented, hardworking individuals to join our growing team.

Shift

Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm.

What You'll Do

• Unload and receive inbound furniture orders, which require moving large, heavy goods
• Repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuver product 150+ pounds unassisted or via team lift
• Use scan technology to document carton-level information (condition, quantity, warehouse location)
• Monitor order management systems to ensure orders are received properly and document Overage/Shortage/Damage issues
• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Pick deliveries from inventory and stage them by truck and stop number
• Provide input into existing tools and suggest improvements based on daily experience
• Be a vocal contributor on the team; work effectively with peers and managers
• Identify efficient ways to complete tasks and ask clarifying questions when appropriate
• Able to read and comprehend English to ensure safety
• Cross-train in other departments and perform additional responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted and move 150+ lbs unassisted or via team lift
• Must be able to work on the warehouse floor 8 hours a day or more
• Strong, consistent work ethic
• Comfort with scanning technology
• Experience in Distribution or Logistics is a plus
• Experience working in High Jump is a plus
• Able to read and comprehend English to ensure safety
