We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Full Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Indianapolis, IN (Plainfield IN area) Distribution HUB.

Matthews International is a worldwide leader in memorialization products, providing high-quality wood, metal, and cremation caskets, urns, memorial jewelry, and other products to funeral home customers. This position involves unloading and loading caskets onto and off our vehicles, preparing products for delivery, and supporting various warehouse activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loading and unloading caskets and memorial products from production facilities.
• Preparing products for delivery and storing incoming products.
• Scanning products, pulling correct orders, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience required or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts on your feet, walking, pushing, and pulling products.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

PHYSICAL ASPECTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, and seeing are regularly required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus.
• The work environment may be noisy.
