Responsibilities

• Compile orders and replenish/move merchandise on the sales floor or to customers’ vehicles.
• Check inventory and orders; interact with customers and operate a forklift as needed.
• Restock show floor with product and organize merchandise to company standards for easy shopping.
• Assist customers in finding products and answer questions; be available to help in other areas of the store as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to safety processes.
• Load out customers with the correct product and provide above-and-beyond customer service.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Knowledge of basic math skills
• Warehouse experience
• Customer service experience
• Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment preferred but not required
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
• Completion of forklift certifications through Floor & Decor
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful drug test

Working Conditions (travel & environment)

• Occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles
• Noise level typically quiet to moderate

Physical/Sensory Requirements

• Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally and 20–30 pounds frequently, or up to 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects
• Frequent use of hands and fingers; ability to stand, walk, reach, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
