Job Details

• Shipping and Receiving: Unload and load trailers, verify proper stacking, and ensure freight is not mixed on pallets, with one item per pallet unless instructed otherwise. Tape or stretch-wrap pallets to ensure product stability.
• Checking: Count all product before storage, compare counts to the drivers’ manifest, check for damage, infestation, and production code dates. Report shortages, damages, and misplacements. Move and store products appropriately, verifying receipt at correct temperatures.
• Over, Short, and Damage: Identify and recover received or shipping damages according to company policy. Report shortages and overages to your supervisor.
• Inventory: Assist with physical inventories using scanners, ensure proper stock rotation by lot number.
• Order Picking: Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper lot numbers. Work efficiently to meet customer standards. Pallet height can reach up to 7 feet.
• Loading: Move products into railcars or trailers efficiently.
• Equipment: Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, slip-sheets, and other power equipment safely. Maintain equipment and report issues.

What We Are Looking For

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Experience with high reach forklifts or warehouse training
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 70 lbs with assistance
• Stand, walk, and handle objects for extended periods
• Use scanners, tablets, radios, and warehouse machinery
• Work in temperatures from +50 to -30 degrees F
• Work overtime as needed
• Operate a registered vehicle if required
• Good vision, communication skills, and ability to work independently
