Our warehouse team plays a crucial role in ensuring that our products are efficiently and accurately processed, packed, and shipped. We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, and distributing products within the warehouse. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Unloading: Unload trucks and containers, verify shipment contents against packing lists, and inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Inventory Management: Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations, conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and maintain accurate records of inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
- Order Processing: Accurately pick items from storage locations to fulfill customer orders as needed and prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Shipping: Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery, generate shipping labels and prepare shipping documents and ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality and accuracy standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards, perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment and ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies safely and efficiently.
- Documentation and Reporting: Assist management with maintaining accurate records of all warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory management, and shipping. Generate reports as needed and communicate any issues to supervisors.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality and report any damaged or defective items to the appropriate personnel.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience in a warehouse environment . Experience in e-commerce, apparel, retail or fashion is preferred
- Familiarity with Shopify admin and ShipStation software is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate written and verbal in the English language
- Comfortable working in a non-temperature controlled warehouse environment. Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift, lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks such as walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching as part of your daily responsibilities.
- We prefer candidates who reside in or are conveniently located near Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, Johns Creek, Cumming, or Duluth.
