Position Overview

Support warehouse operations both on and off the airport site. Responsibilities include processing shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, pulling, packing, delivering stock orders, and maintaining shop facilities. Effective communication with store management, vendors, and airport staff is essential to ensure compliance with delivery and merchandise movement regulations. Candidates should learn job responsibilities, including warehouse layout, inventory types, and merchandise sections.

Additional duties involve maintaining and delivering stock across various locations, pulling reports, and ensuring adequate merchandise levels through order fulfillment.

Core Competencies

• Knowledge of warehouse layout and product slotting systems
• Understanding inventory control principles, including FIFO and FEFO
• Accuracy in transferring items between reserve and pick locations
• Proactive communication with Picking, Receiving, and Inventory teams

Responsibilities

• Prioritize customer satisfaction (internal and external)
• Replenish pick locations accurately from reserve stock
• Perform inventory transactions using WMS after each move
• Inspect products and rotate inventory during replenishment
• Maintain clear aisles and consolidate partial pallets
• Efficiently pick and process store orders
• Use WMS for receiving and updating inventory
• Handle various product categories with care
• Organize the picking zone and restock supplies
• Report issues encountered during picking
• Prepare receiving area based on inbound schedules
• Unload, inspect, verify, and label products
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse
• Resolve discrepancies or damages promptly

Specific Tasks

• Use RF scanners for inventory moves
• Move pallets with handling equipment
• Ensure FIFO for perishable items
• Flag discrepancies or damages
• Support urgent restocks
• Read and interpret pick lists

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of warehouse, retail, or customer service experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work with urgency, prioritize, and handle multiple projects
• Self-starter with minimal instruction
• Adaptability to changing priorities and situations
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs.), long standing, climbing, bending, and work during nights, weekends, and holidays
