Job Responsibilities
Harris is seeking an Industrial Shipper to support order fulfillment by pulling and boxing orders according to customer specifications. Responsibilities include picking, transporting, and placing finished products in the warehouse, recording locations in the SAP system, and assisting with order documentation and shipment preparations, including loading/unloading trucks and warehouse management of received materials and finished products.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Work safely and promote safety within the team, participating in safety training and wearing PPE as required.
- Pick and box orders accurately, verifying details and completing documentation.
- Transport finished products from Assembly to Distribution, recording locations appropriately.
- Load and unload shipments, handle deliveries following proper procedures, and warehouse materials correctly.
- Participate in cost-saving and Six Sigma projects, support team members, and utilize lean tools like 5S and visual factory concepts.
- Attend team meetings and maintain order and cleanliness in the workspace.
Job Requirements
Required: At least 2 years of related experience, High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
Preferred: Distribution experience, basic computer skills, forklift license.
