Objective / General Description

  • Understand and maintain knowledge of Stein Distributing's distribution and warehousing objectives.
  • Ensure the upkeep, cleanliness, and security of the facility, promoting safety.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure high performance of personnel, including receiving, rotation (LIFO), accuracy, and equipment operation.
  • Conduct daily physical inventory counts and handle product disposal.
  • Respond promptly to sales and delivery requests, emphasizing customer service.
  • Transfer cooperage to the north warehouse.
  • Assist with picking and loading on-premise bar routes.
  • Ensure weekly bailing of cardboard and plastic.
  • Check-in returning route drivers.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Picking and loading.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Capable of lifting up to 165 lbs. and frequently lifting 25 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, lift, kneel, squat, sit, and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Forklift certified.
