Warehouse Associate Job at Cornerstone Building Brands in Wagoner

Overview

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our Mueller's site in Wagoneer. This position supports the business by providing great customer service and facilitating the shipping and loading process for the business, handling all the products for the business, and ensuring that the production lines have the raw material to use, that customers receive their products, and that our delivery trucks are loaded.

Responsibilities

• Receive loading documents for jobs.
• Properly load delivery trucks and customer vehicles using a combination of forklift, overhead crane and manual labor as required.
• Unload stock trucks and place material in the correct location.
• Perform grounds upkeep (mowing, weed eating, etc.).
• Assist in inventory management activities including cycle counts and spot checks.
• Coordinate deliveries with sales representatives.
• Pre-pull customer pick-up orders to ensure they are ready when customers arrive.
• Report inventory levels to management.
• Coordinate loading trailer(s) for all deliveries.
• Ensure that all customer orders are loaded safely, accurately, and timely.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or general education degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a forklift.
• Manufacturing experience, picking up products from jobs, and loading/unloading products preferred.
• Experience with technology, especially handheld scanners and computers.
• Ability to work with precision and control where damage could be considerable.
• Attention and care to prevent injury to others when performing work.
• Ability to stoop, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
